Privacy Policy
At Belvarnè, we know your privacy matters. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect when you visit belvarne.com or shop with us, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. We've tried to keep the language simple and honest. If you have any questions, we're always reachable at info@belvarne.com.
This policy applies to customers and visitors in the United States.
1. Who We Are
Belvarnè is a women's footwear and accessories brand operated by Bevel Brands LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company. Belvarnè is a trade name of Bevel Brands LLC. We sell directly to customers in the United States through our online store, which is hosted on Shopify.
For any privacy-related question, you can reach us at:

2. Information We Collect
We collect personal information in three ways: directly from you, automatically when you use our site, and from a small number of trusted partners.
Information you give us directly. When you place an order, create an account, sign up for our emails, or contact us, we collect things like your name, billing and shipping address, email address, phone number (if you give it), order history, and any messages or feedback you send.
Information collected automatically. When you visit belvarne.com, our systems and Shopify automatically log certain technical information, including your IP address (shortened or anonymized where possible), browser type and version, operating system, device type, the pages you visit, the date and time of your visit, the referring URL, and similar data needed to keep the site running and secure.
Information from partners. We may receive information from our payment processor (Shopify Payments), our shipping carriers, our email and analytics providers, and our advertising platforms (only if you've consented to marketing cookies).
We do not collect "sensitive personal information" as that term is defined under California law (such as Social Security numbers, precise geolocation, biometric data, or health information). We also do not knowingly collect information from anyone under the age of 13.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use your personal information for these purposes:
To process and fulfill your orders, including taking payment, sending confirmations, arranging shipping, and handling returns.
To provide customer service, including answering questions and resolving issues.
To run and improve our website, including troubleshooting, security, fraud prevention, and analytics.
To send marketing emails about new arrivals, sales, and brand updates, but only if you've signed up. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email.
To show relevant ads, but only if you've consented to marketing cookies. We may use platforms like Meta or Google for this.
To comply with legal obligations, such as tax reporting, recordkeeping, and responding to lawful requests.
4. How We Share Your Information
We share personal information only with parties who help us run the business, and only as needed. We do not sell your personal information.
We share information with:
Shopify, which hosts our store, processes payments, and provides analytics.
Shipping partners (such as USPS, UPS, or FedEx), which need your name, address, and phone number to deliver your order.
Email and marketing service providers, which help us send order confirmations and (with your consent) marketing emails.
Analytics and advertising providers, only if you've consented to cookies for those purposes.
Professional advisors and authorities, such as accountants, lawyers, or government agencies, when required by law.
A buyer or successor, in the event of a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets. If that happens, we'll let you know.
All of our partners are required by contract to protect your information and use it only for the purposes we've authorized.
5. Cookies and Tracking
Our site uses cookies and similar technologies. There are three types:
Essential cookies, which keep things like your shopping cart and checkout working. These can't be turned off.
Functional and analytics cookies, which help us understand how visitors use the site so we can improve it.
Marketing cookies, which we use only with your consent. These let us show you relevant ads on platforms like Meta and Google.
You can manage your cookie preferences through our cookie banner the first time you visit, and at any time afterward through the cookie settings link in our site footer. You can also disable cookies in your browser, but some features of the site may stop working.
We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals as a valid request to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information for California, Colorado, and Connecticut residents.
6. Your Privacy Rights
Your rights depend on where you live. Below are the main ones.
6.1 California Residents (CCPA / CPRA)
If you're a California resident, you have the right to:
Know what personal information we've collected, used, disclosed, or shared about you over the past 12 months (or back to January 1, 2022, if we still hold that data).
Delete personal information we've collected from you, with some legal exceptions.
Correct inaccurate personal information we hold about you.
Opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information. We do not sell your personal information, and we only "share" it for cross-context behavioral advertising if you've consented to marketing cookies. You can opt out at any time through our cookie settings or by sending a Global Privacy Control signal.
Limit the use of sensitive personal information. We do not collect sensitive personal information as defined by CCPA, so this right currently doesn't apply, but you can still ask us to confirm that.
Non-discrimination. We won't deny you service, charge you a different price, or give you a lower quality experience for exercising any of your rights.
To make a request, email us at info@belvarne.com with "Privacy Request" in the subject line. We may need to verify your identity before responding. We aim to confirm receipt within 10 business days and respond fully within 45 days, with the option to extend by another 45 days if needed (we'll tell you if we need more time).
You can also designate an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf. If you do, we'll need written proof of the agent's authority.
6.2 Other U.S. State Residents
If you live in Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, Oregon, Montana, Delaware, Iowa, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Tennessee, Minnesota, Maryland, Indiana, Kentucky, Rhode Island, or Nebraska, you have similar rights, including:
The right to access the personal information we hold about you.
The right to correct inaccurate information.
The right to delete personal information we hold about you.
The right to opt out of targeted advertising and the sale of personal information.
The right to data portability, where applicable.
The right to appeal if we deny your request.
To make a request or appeal, email info@belvarne.com. We'll respond within the timeframe required by your state's law (typically 45 days).
6.3 California's "Shine the Light" Law
California residents may also request a list of third parties to whom we've disclosed personal information for those parties' direct marketing purposes in the past calendar year. We do not currently share information for third-party direct marketing, but if that changes, you can request the list at info@belvarne.com.
7. How Long We Keep Your Information
We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes described in this policy, or as long as required by law (for example, U.S. federal and state tax laws typically require us to keep transaction records for at least 7 years).
When we no longer need your information, we delete or anonymize it. Specific retention periods depend on the type of data and the legal obligation involved. If you want details about a specific category, just ask.
8. How We Protect Your Information
We use reasonable technical, administrative, and physical safeguards to protect your personal information, including encryption in transit, access controls, and secure hosting through Shopify. We also limit access to personal information to people who need it to do their jobs.
No system is perfectly secure, though, so we can't guarantee absolute security. If a data breach affects you, we'll notify you and the appropriate authorities as required by applicable state law.
9. Children's Privacy
Our site and products are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, and additional protections apply to California residents under 16. If you believe a child has given us personal information, please contact info@belvarne.com and we'll delete it.
10. Visitors From Outside the United States
Belvarnè is a U.S. business that ships only within the United States. If you're visiting our site from outside the U.S., please understand that any information you submit will be processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your country.
We do not actively target customers in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, and we do not generally process personal data of residents of those regions in a way that triggers GDPR. If you believe you've submitted information to us and would like to exercise rights under GDPR or your country's privacy law, please email info@belvarne.com and we'll do our best to help.
11. Links to Other Sites
Our site may link to other websites we don't control, like our Instagram or third-party blogs. This Privacy Policy doesn't cover those sites. If you click a link and leave belvarne.com, please review the privacy policy of the site you land on.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The most current version will always be posted here with a new "Last Updated" date. For significant changes, we'll let you know by email or with a clear notice on our site.
